MARCO, the agency specialising in brand building and reputation management, has announced its membership in the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain. By joining the Chamber, the consultancy strengthens its ties with the British market at both business and institutional levels, gaining access to a bilateral and independent business network in Spain, through which it can develop new opportunities on a reciprocal basis.
The British Chamber is the only independent Spanish-British business organisation in Spain, maintaining strong institutional relations, particularly with the British Embassy and trade services (Department for International Trade), as well as Spanish commercial offices abroad (ICEX). The Chamber’s mission is to foster business and investment between British and Spanish companies, advocate for its members’ interests through the creation of advocacy committees and publication of studies, and organise events and initiatives that enhance business opportunities and visibility for its members. MARCO, in turn, will have access to increased brand visibility through various events, communication initiatives, and joint projects, as well as the opportunity to invite its clients who have an interest or potential interest in the British market.
With its own office in London, MARCO has, for more than 20 years, collaborated with British companies with interests in Spain, as well as with national, international, and European institutions with interests in the UK. Ludi García, Head of Iberia at MARCO, highlighted the significance of this alliance between the British Chamber and MARCO, stating: “Our membership in the Chamber in Spain aims to offer our local and international perspective on communication to its members and to promote collaboration between British and Spanish companies.”
