MARCO, the agency specialized in brand building and reputation management, took center stage at the awards gala held on May 12 for the 20th edition of El Chupete Festival, winning six awards at an event that celebrates innovation and creativity in communication and marketing aimed at children and young audiences.
The EDP Gran Vía Theater in Madrid hosted the ceremony for what has become a benchmark event in the sector, attended by leading brands and agencies involved in this growing field. With a strong focus on creative excellence and a commitment to ethical, educational, and inclusive advertising, the Festival’s organizers awarded more than 20 prizes to the most outstanding campaigns of the past year.
Among the winners, MARCO stood out with six awards across three different campaigns.
On one hand, the ‘Role Model 2025’ campaign — designed and implemented alongside Mattel and Barbie and featuring Paralympic champion Susana Rodríguez — received awards in the categories of PR Campaign and Brand Activation & Experience. More than just a campaign, it was a tribute to the power of inspiring girls to recognize and embrace their full potential.
On the other hand, in partnership with Mondelēz International and its iconic OREO brand, the campaigns ‘OREO X Minecraft’ and ‘OREO Renovation’ — created in collaboration with Publicis Group and Spark — received awards in the categories of Digital and Brand Activation & Experience, as well as Print and Best Integrated Campaign, respectively. The latter was recognized as one of the Grand Prizes of the evening.
In both cases, the jury highlighted the campaigns’ ability to engage consumers in innovative and disruptive ways, through clear multichannel strategies that achieved unprecedented impact.
