MARCO, the global communications agency specialized in brand building and reputation management, has been awarded the Happy Index® At Work certification in Spain. This recognition, granted by ChooseMyCompany, highlights organizations where employees report the highest levels of satisfaction, engagement, and workplace well-being.
At the start of 2025, MARCO titled its annual offsite with the motto “Enjoy the Ride” — a clear statement of its corporate culture and commitment to its people. Human resources management and talent retention are central pillars of MARCO’s business and growth strategy. Over the past year, the consultancy has continued to recruit and train diverse profiles while actively promoting internal talent across all departments.
In parallel, last March MARCO announced a partnership with the app DoGood People, aimed at encouraging collective employee engagement around environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. Through this collaboration, MARCO employees are empowered to take an active role in achieving the agency’s ESG goals.
The Happy Index® At Work certification marks another step forward in strengthening this culture of care and commitment. The index is based entirely on anonymous employee feedback, evaluating key areas such as professional development, workplace atmosphere, leadership, and alignment with company values. In this context, MARCO has demonstrated a solid organizational culture that prioritizes motivation, growth, and work-life balance.
“This recognition comes from our most important client — the one truly responsible for what MARCO has become over the last three decades: our people. We, the MARCO People, are committed to creating a respectful, diverse, and inclusive environment where everyone can fully express their creativity and do their best work,” said Carlos García, Head of Stakeholder Relations and Internal Communications at MARCO.
The Happy Index® At Work certification positions MARCO as one of the most highly rated companies — not only by clients and international awards, but also by its own employees.
