Madrid, 10 February 2025. MARCO, the Madrid based international PR agency with 18 offices on 4 continents and specialised in brand building and reputation management, has announced the appointment of award winning ex MSL and ex Publicis digital whiz kid Kim Piquet as its new Chief Digital Officer.
Kim Piquet brings a wealth of creativity and digital expertise to MARCO’s digital team. With 17 years of experience in digital marketing, Kim Piquet has a proven track record helping brands and companies connect with their target audiences through engagement strategies, innovative content and unforgettable brand experiences. Throughout his career, Kim has specialized in creating and leading new teams and departments, directing multinational and multidisciplinary teams, specialized in content creation, social media, influencer marketing and brand storytelling.
Piquet joins MARCO as Chief Digital Officer after more than 10 years leading projects at Publicis Groupe, first at MSL Italy and later at Publics One Touch out of Germany. Before that, Kim briefly worked in advertising at Leo Burnett and TBWA. Throughout his career Kim has developed campaigns for a variety of global clients such as Netflix, P&G, Ferrero, Huawei, Spotify, Coca-Cola, Diesel, Tinder and most recently NIVEA, pioneering major award winning campaigns in the digital space such as the NFT project “The Value of Touch”, the rollout of NIVEA on TikTok channels, and the content-first campaign “Skin Out Loud”.
Kim has won multiple awards for his projects in advertising, content and PR, including Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, London International Festival, New York Festival, The Drum Awards, D&AD, PR Report, European Excellence Awards, Sabre Awards, Art Director’s Club and The One Show.
As part of his commitment to pursuing continuous innovation, he publishes “The O.K. List” on LinkedIn, a weekly newsletter that covers cultural and social trends, helping members of his community stay up-to-date and inspired.
Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) in Rio de Janeiro, a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) in Milan, and a specialized Master’s degree in Digital Marketing from Sole24 Business School. He is also certified in Data Science & Big Data Analytics by the M.I.T.
