MARCO, the international communication agency based in Spain, strengthens its international team to serve a growing portfolio of institutional and global clients like the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and the European Investment Bank (EIB). The consultancy firm, recently recognised by The Holmes Report from Provoke as the fastest growing Spanish agency in 2019, has recruited senior consultants Mario Skouras and Doreen Otieno-Finger.
Mario Skouras joins the MARCO team as Project Manager in the EU Affairs division and will be based in the Madrid office. Mario holds a degree in Arts and European Studies from the University of Essex, as well as a Masters in International Relations and Affairs from the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna. He has more than 10 years of varied experience in the European Council, as well as consultancy work for the PA & PR agency Interel, where he spent more than seven years. Mario is multilingual and fluent in five languages: English, Spanish, German, Greek and French.

Doreen Otieno-Finger joins MARCO as a Content Manager and Editor and will be based in our Barcelona office. Doreen has a Bachelors Degree in Media, Culture and Communication from Liverpool John Moores University, a Masters Degree in International Journalism from the University of Leeds, a Diploma in Global Journalism from Harvard Summer School, as well as an MBA in Communication and Public Relations from the EU Business School. She has more than five years of experience as a journalist in various media houses such as Voices of America and The Star Newspaper of Radio Africa Group, as well as content creation at MediaCrest. Doreen is also multilingual and speaks English, Spanish and Swahili.
