MARCO, the consultancy specializing in brand building and reputation management, has announced the appointment of Kim Piquet as its new Chief Digital Officer. This addition enhances MARCO’s capabilities in the digital and multimarket arena. Piquet will be responsible for leading and coordinating digital communication services, including social media, influencer marketing, and paid media strategies.
With 17 years of experience in content marketing, Kim Piquet has built a distinguished career helping brands and companies connect with their target audiences through engagement strategies, innovative content, and unforgettable brand experiences. Throughout his career, he has specialized in creating and leading new teams and departments, managing multinational and multidisciplinary teams focused on content creation, social media, influencer marketing, and brand storytelling.
Piquet joins MARCO as its new Head of Digital after more than 10 years leading projects at Publicis Groupe. Over the years, he has developed campaigns for a wide range of global clients, including Netflix, P&G, Ferrero, Huawei, Spotify, Coca-Cola, Diesel, Tinder, and most recently, NIVEA. He has been a pioneer in key digital initiatives such as the NFT project “The Value of Touch,” the implementation of NIVEA’s TikTok channels, and the “Skin Out Loud” content campaign.
Kim has received numerous industry awards for his work in advertising, content, and PR, including Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, London International Festival, New York Festival, The Drum Awards, D&AD, PR Report, European Excellence Awards, Sabre Awards, Art Director’s Club, and The One Show.
As part of his commitment to knowledge sharing and continuous innovation, he publishes “The O.K. List” on LinkedIn, a weekly newsletter covering cultural and social trends to help his community stay informed and inspired.
Kim holds a degree in Advertising from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) in Rio de Janeiro, a Master’s in Corporate Communication from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) in Milan, and a specialized Master’s in Digital Marketing from Sole24 Business School. He is also certified in Data Science & Big Data Analytics by MIT.
